Four Seasons Resort The Nam Hai Celebrates Contemporary Vietnamese Mixology with an Exclusive Two-Night Experience at Sol & Sao

Four Seasons Resort The Nam Hai, Hoi An will showcase a contemporary take on Vietnamese cocktail culture with an exclusive two-night event at Sol & Sao on September 12 and 13, 2026, from 6:30 pm to 10:30 pm. The experience celebrates Vietnam’s diverse landscapes, seasonal produce and culinary traditions through creative cocktails and modern mixology.
The event forms part of the resort’s broader commitment to connecting guests with Vietnamese culture through locally inspired food and beverage experiences. By bringing leading talent from around the country to Hoi An, Four Seasons aims to provide a deeper look at Vietnam’s rapidly evolving contemporary cocktail scene.
For this special edition, Sol & Sao welcomes The Enigma Mansion, recognised by Asia’s 50 Best Bars. Under the theme “Two Cities, One Night,” the bar will present four signature cocktails that reinterpret familiar Vietnamese ingredients and flavours using contemporary techniques.
The Strawberry cocktail combines Toki Whisky with strawberry whey, koji water, cacao wine and Vietnamese salted apricot. Wintermelon blends Roku Gin with wintermelon, cucumber, dill, pear, tonic and mezcal. The more unusual Beetroot pairs Toki Whisky with beetroot, jasmine, Parmesan cheese and tamarind, while Rice combines Maker’s Mark Bourbon with red rice, butter, apple cordial, miso vermouth and passionfruit seed bitters.
Drawing inspiration from ingredients found in Vietnam’s farms, markets and kitchens, the collection highlights the diversity of the country’s culinary landscape while presenting traditional flavours from a new perspective.
Set within the lively surroundings of Sol & Sao, the two-night collaboration combines craftsmanship, storytelling and a strong sense of place, offering resort guests and visitors an opportunity to experience some of the creativity currently shaping Vietnam’s cocktail culture.

Brisbane's first high tea reimagined for a night out, at The Inchcolm

Brisbane’s traditional afternoon tea is getting an evening transformation with the launch of High Tea After Dark at The Inchcolm by Ode Hotels. Beginning 4 September 2026, the new experience is billed as Brisbane’s first hotel high tea specifically designed as a night out, combining classic high-tea rituals with cocktails, theatrical presentation and contemporary flavours.

Available every Friday and Saturday evening, High Tea After Dark replaces the traditional daytime setting with a more social, immersive atmosphere. Guests begin with a dramatic arrival cocktail featuring dry-ice aromatics. Made with lemongrass-infused vodka, ginger, butterfly pea and citrus, the drink changes colour as part of the presentation.
Tea and coffee remain central to the experience but are reinterpreted through creative cocktails. Premium blends from Australian tea specialist T2 provide the foundation for the tea selection. Highlights include The Blooming Garden, combining golden jasmine and lychee with gin and finished tableside with edible shimmer, and The Midnight Espresso, a contemporary coffee cocktail accompanied by a chocolate truffle.

The drinks are paired with a curated selection of share-style sweet and savoury bites featuring unconventional combinations such as truffled camembert, charcoal scones and smoked macadamia.
According to The Inchcolm, the concept was developed to retain the indulgence and sense of occasion associated with traditional high tea while making it more relevant to an evening audience.

The 90-minute experience costs AUD 99 per person, including the High Tea After Dark menu and two tea- or coffee-inspired cocktails. Guests can add 60 minutes of bottomless Prosecco for AUD 45 per person.

High Tea After Dark takes place at The Inchcolm in Spring Hill, with limited seating and bookings required at least 24 hours in advance.

About Jack’s Place
Established in 1966, Jack’s Place is the trusted favourite known for its Western food. It all started when Mr. Say Lip Hai arrived in Singapore from Hainan Island and started as a cook boy with the British troops in Sembawang. There he learned how to prepare the perfect roast beef and Yorkshire pudding.

Having tasted one of Mr Say’s now famous meals, a British housewife suggested he start a catering business with her husband, Jack Hunt, in his pub at Killiney Road, Jack’s Place, which he started in 1966. Mr Say agreed and commenced that partnership in 1968. Shortly afterwards, Jack Hunt sold his share of the business, but his namesake ‘Jack the Chef’ still runs the kitchen today!
Today, Jack’s Place is the trusted favourite for family and friends to enjoy great value sizzling steaks, speciality meals, and sumptuous cakes. Jack’s Place is committed to serving quality food and creating memorable dining experiences in a cheerful and cosy environment for our guests.

Novotel Invites the World to Embrace Small Daily Wellness Habits with the Launch of "Longevity Week"

Novotel is launching its first Novotel Longevity Week, a global initiative encouraging people to improve their long-term wellbeing through small, realistic habits rather than major lifestyle changes. Taking place from 7–13 September 2026, the 37th week of the year, the campaign is inspired by the idea that improving by just 1% each day can compound into significant change over time.

The initiative follows a Novotel study of 13,000 people across 12 countries, which found growing interest in long-term health. Some 71% of respondents are more concerned about their future wellbeing than five years ago, while 76% wish they lived healthier lifestyles. Balanced nutrition, quality sleep and regular exercise were identified as the most important contributors to longevity. However, many struggle to turn this knowledge into everyday habits, while social media has made reliable wellness advice increasingly difficult to identify.

To provide practical, expert-led guidance, Novotel has created the Novotel 37 Collective, featuring Olympic surfing champion Kauli Vaast, food creator Alfie Steiner, sleep expert Olivia Arezzolo, former Paris Saint-Germain footballer Javier Pastore, and marine conservation biologist and photographer Kaushiik Subramaniam.

Longevity Week is organised around four pillars: Eat, Sleep, Move and Meet. Free online talks, masterclasses and live sessions will cover topics including plant-forward cooking, morning movement routines, breathwork, better sleep, recovery, human connection and the relationship between nutrition and ocean health.

Sessions will stream through Novotel’s Instagram and YouTube channels and be accessible both to hotel guests and audiences at home.
The programme forms part of Novotel’s broader Longevity Everyday vision, promoting achievable, science-informed habits that can support healthier, happier and more connected lives over the long term.
